JUDY GRIFFITHS-
Arts of the Wild
She has been an artist for more than 35 years, receiving many awards, including
a grant from the Ohio Arts Council, and has shown her work throughout the United
States.
"The 'Arts
of the Wild' name came about because I started by painting wildlife. I decided
that my work still hinges on a wild note."
Judy considers
herself a colorist liking to work with brilliant colors, this is not however
the only way she paints, many of her works have been done in a moderate tone to
accommodate her clients tastes.
Loving all subject
matter, her work includes landscapes, wildlife, florals, and still lifes. She
works in acrylics, colored pencil, and mixed media. Her style includes nuances
of realism, impressionism and abstraction.
Collections: First
Federal Bank, Forum Health, Northside and St. Josephs Hospitals, Bral Corp., Buckeye
Oil, and many other places throughout the world.
LARRY GRIFFITHS-
Funky but Functional Furnishings
Following a number of years as a successful carver of wildfowl, and several years
respite from the arts, I decided to 'begin' again by going in a different direction.
As I have always
had an affinity for wood as a medium my first 'direction' was to create funky
cabinets, some of which may be seen on this site, of recycled woods, metals and
other found objects.
Along those same
lines, I then began to collect wood casting patterns, turning these into functional
one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture.
Working with metals
has also always attracted me and I have recently begun work on garden sculpture
again using recycled products.
These pieces are
representations of flowers and 'bugs'.
Thank you for visiting
our site and please enjoy seeing our work.
